    How to get rid of pieces of uninstalled software that refuse to go

    I by mistakenly installed a software in my windows from internet & i tried to remove it. But i am not able to remove it...! Actually i removed it directly from program files but some files are not removed it shows me access denied...! Does anyone know what might be the problem.... Please Help me in removing it...????

    I think you did the wrong procedure for it... I don't know what to do but you need You might now need to reinstall at the same place & then uninstall it from ADD/Remove it from there. I hope this will work....! & then you will be able to delete the file you are not able to delete from in it..!

    I don't know about it but the above solution is correct otherwise there is another solution for it... Just boot into the safe mode with windows & then delete the folder from there where you want to remove it...! It will delete from there...!

    Also there is a way to do it but for that you need to edit Registry & Editing Registry Editor is a crucial part & may lead to a problem if any error. Go to Registry Editor & then find the software name in it using find option then when it finds there delete it & find again then one by one delete each one in it... This will delete all your entries in your computer for that software...!

    there is a free program called "revounistaller". you should download it and run it. it will run the softwares uninstall feature first, then it will remove anything that is left over. very easy program to use.
