Hello , i Have a windows xp Computer , can you tell me what are the Diagnostics Tools for windows Xp are Available , I mean there must be various tools available to diagnose the windows xp problem , so please tell me where can i download the Diagnostics Tools for windows xp , please help me thanks in advance

In the windows explorer , when you right-click on a drive and you go to properties, tab "Tools" gives you access to three tools:

• Defragmenter (c:\windows\Defrag.exe)
• Scandisk (c:\windows\command\scandisk.exe)
• Backup (c:\program files\accessories\backup.exe)

Download the WindowsXP-KB914440-v12-x86-ENU.exe package now.

Click Start, click Run, type xpnetdiag.exe, and then click OK.

When you have network problems, you can use a powerful tool for windows. Indeed, Windows XP includes a feature to make a diagnosis of your network to detect the problems.

To do this:

1. click Start, then Run
   
   
2. Enter and confirm helpctr.exe by Entry
   
   
3. The Center for Help and Support opens
   
   
4. Under the heading Select a Task, click Use Tools to view your computer information and diagnose problems
   
   
5. In the Tools list, then click Network Diagnostics
   
   
6. Finally, click on Analyze your system to begin the analysis.
