Messenger can't remember live ID after reboot

All "remember" boxes are checked. But after reboot, everything is wiped out. Without reboot, just restarting application is not a problem.

Is there any setting I can change?

Download this simple tool called Make Messenger Remember to solve Messenger forgetting your username and password problem. All you need to do is download, run it and click the Fix button. Make Messenger Remember will automatically restart Windows after completing its work, so be sure to close and save any data prior to beginning the process. After restart, run Windows Live Messenger and see if your Live ID and hotmail is saved. If not, simply enter again and save it. The next time you restart your computer the login information should be there.

If its not remembering password, then try to reinstall it again. Also scan your system with good antivirus and delete all infections if found. I hope this helps.

The program seems to fix the problem, except the anti-virus did catch sth. after reboot. Not sure if it's related.

Hi all I just used the above and it really does work! appears that yahoo toolbar installer can screw registry up, just removing the toolbar won't work.
wouldnt be surprised if AOhell toolbar does the same

you might have crashed the registry or there is something which is clearing the data on exit... please remove such softwares immediately...
