7MC Radio Problem in Windows Media Center

Hi,
My HTPC at my home has 2 TV Tuner cards in it. One belongs to Hauppauge and the second one is ATI. I had recently upgraded the first one and ATI had came with my Media Center pc at the time of purchase. Now I am facing some issue with the Radio in 7MC TV guide. I am using the guide from a long time. When I select a station the guide takes really long time to broadcast the channel. I had spoken to my Digital Cable provider for the issue. There no problem from there side. What are more plug ins available for listening FM radio on media center. How to use a movie collector plug in in it. Thanks in advance.

I will recommend you to download the entire file back again. The problem lies with the plugin. You TV Tuner card must not be able to read the signal broadcast by online service. First try to update the drivers for your TV Tuner card. Go to the official site and get the latest update. Download and install them. If still the problem continuous then switch to the old card and check out. If the old card is giving out a proper output then that means you have some hardware issue with the new card. You will need to contact the customer service support for the same purpose.

To use the Movie collector in your media center just open the plugin and then initialize it properly. It is a very handy tool used for organizing your large collection of DVD movies. The current feature has more new additional component and utilities. It has new Media Center Plugin with MCE Zone product, etc. The thing you should know that it is a paid service. And you get a trail version of 50 movies at the time of try out period. Then after that to get a full access you have to pay a fee. Just install it and go to Tools > Option and select Media Center. The plug in does not require any save option. It works fine and properly. Add you movies and it will create your database. You can also manually input more movies. It also offers you a movie editor tool.

Re: 7MC Radio Problem in Windows Media Center

I had too experienced the similar issue. When I switch the channel it gave out a 6 second delay with a blank screen. This is hardware issue. You TV Tuner card is not able to identity the signal properly. It definitely needs some serious configuration settings and a latest firmware update. Once it is done you will not face such issues back again. Try this out. You can get a additional on line radio plugin for your media center. Download it and install it. The one I had attached below to the post. Try this one out.
