x64bit SRS Audio Sandbox for Vista x64

Here I am facing a problem with SRS Audio Sandbox in Vista.I searched on net &find out that there ary many people facing the same problem of mine.I use this in my company & having sound crash when using this combo.

I use a MSI sli v2, the HD realtek alc959, 7.1 cannel audio connector.I was using the same with XP & worked perfectly.

When i switched to vista ultimate x64 & also got the x64 version of SRS. After installing the problem begins. It was working fine first utill it crashed.(I did install the 32 bit vesrsion of SRS in Vista Ultimate x86 for a friend and he doesn't suffer from crashes)

So my deduction here is that the problem lies in the x64 drivers of SRS or the capacity for vista x64 to handdle such a fine program.
(i have not tryed the x64 version of xp yet to single out if it is the xp/vista or is the 32/64 conflicts with SRS).

So i know where the problem is, but dnt know how to solve it...

Problem solved, download SRS Audio Sandbox from a different location. The setup installer I had, although seemed to be fine, the volume selector was stuck and vista couldn't "see" it in the sound configuration as a sound card. I downloaded several different versions from various sources and eventually got one to work. The one that worked, advertised that 4 out of five flat panel TV's used SRS during insatallation. RUN THE PATCH AS AN ADMINISTRATOR! Thats all I have to say, good luck people!

So try doing the same so you may be also the same facing problem. Try installing the x32 bit version to install instead of x64 bit version.

Can someone just tell me how to get the darn patch to work in Vista, it just reads the file to be patched, as "open"
