Quick Time software is out of date

I am on windows Xp sp3 , Whenever i try to open quicktime There will be a error saying that "Some of your Quick Time software is out of date. You can fix this problem by updating to the latest version" what does this means i have update it , but then also i am getting this error how to remove or stop this error appearing ?

You need to go to Tools > Folder Options", click the view tab.

and make your "Show hidden files or folders" is selected and make and also make sure that the Hide filename extensions for known filetypes is unchecked.

Now you need to go to C:\Windows\System32\, In there you will see two files QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx, if something else is there delete it .
this should do the trick .

To get ride of the "Some of your Quick Time software is out of date. You can fix this problem by updating to the latest version" error you got to do the following .

• Uninstall QuickTime
• Delete the directory c:\windows\system32\QuickTime
• Delet all the files in c:\windows\system32 ( listed below )
  1. QTIM32.DLL
  2. QTOLE32.DLL
  3. QTMWCI32.DLL
  4. QuickTimeMusicalInstruments.qtx
• Reinstalled QuickTime

If you are having this problem in start up then you can go to C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Start Menu\Programs\Startup, is there any indication of what might be loading at startup that may be the cause?
Also in +HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE+SOFTWARE+Microsoft+Windows+CurrentVersion and click once on Run
