have a good look on your motherboard, you will see a round metal button(it looks like a watch battery). The problem of slow clock is generally related to the depletion of that battery , that kind of behavior usually means the cmos battery is dead, do you get any messages on your startup screen like Low battery. if you have a tester, you can check: it should provide about 3.3 volts. Otherwise, these batteries are readily available where it sells computer parts. There is another alternative try downloading a clock from the web or something.

If your computer is connected to the Internet, Windows will update the system clock on a regular time automatically . this feature is quite useful, to enable this Go first to the clock settings in the Windows right-clicking on the time displayed on the bottom right and selecting "Adjust Date/Time" in the menu. Then choose the tab "Internet Time". From there, it is possible to see that Windows uses a default server named "time.windows.com. Knowing that many people use it, the synchronization can be slow at times. It is therefore necessary to choose another server , Choose one that is closest to you. When the server changes, click the button "Update" to synchronize your clock.

This synchronization is done regularly, ie once a week. It is possible to make it more frequent. To change the frequency of synchronization, you will have to go through the registry of Windows. CLick the Start menu and select "Run." In the field of the dialog box that appears, type "regedit" and click OK.

Once in the registry, locate the following entry

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\ TimeProviders\NtpClient

Double-click the key "SpecialPollInterval. Select the display mode in decimal. The default is 604,800 seconds or 7 days. To reduce this to one day enter and validate 86,400. Now, your clock will be synchronized every day and on a less crowded server.

Hello , somebody might have installed Slow Clock on your computer , slow clock will slow down your victim's clock by 10% (1 sec. every 10 seconds), leading to the clock quickly becoming inaccurate. Every hour, the clock will be 6 minutes slower; every day, 144 minutes. To disable, reboot your computer.
