Follow this procedure to set up outlook 2003 for email
- On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
- Select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
- Select the e-mail server used for your account, and then click Next.
- In the appropriate boxes, type the information given to you by your Internet service provider (ISP) or administrator.
- If you are adding a Microsoft Exchange Server account, click Check Names to verify that the server recognizes your name.
- If you want to configure additional settings, such as how you want your computer to connect to your e-mail server, click More Settings. Otherwise, click Next.
- Click Finish.
Select Tools and then Email Accounts…select Add a new e-mail account and click Next to continue > Select option from the wizard and then click Next again > On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3/IMAP) window, enter your information > On the Internet E-mail Settings window, go to the Outgoing Server tab > Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication > Go to the Advanced tab, and then change the Outgoing server (SMTP) port to 80 or 3535 > Click OK.
On the Tools menu, click E-Mail Accounts.
On the E-Mail Accounts page, under E-mail, Click Add a new e-mail account and then click Next.
Select POP3 or IMAP and click Next.
Provide the information on the Internet E-mail Settings page: User Information, Server Information, Logon Information.
Click the Test Account Settings button and you should see all items with green check marks. Click Close to close the test window.
On the Internet E-mail Settings (IMAP) page, click Next.
On the Congratulations page, click Finish.
