aolsoftware.exe unable to locate component

When it initiates the equipment everything works well until it tries to load my profile and soon it leaves the message to me error:

explorer.exe incapable to locate browseui.dll component and, next, the computer is blocked. I can fix this without having to recharge the windows.

Re: aolsoftware.exe unable to locate component

check if the generated exe has a manifest

You can do that to verify when open the file. Exe in VERSUS, and in the resources that would have to be able to see a RT_MANIFEST. Extension of the RT_MANIFEST node must reveal '1' in that a node of reference to the MSVC80.DLL is defined. If you do not have to declare and, next, it is necessary to change the configuration of the project to generate the manifesto and to include in exe. This can become through Linker-> Manifest File-> To generate Manifesto = Yes and tool-> Manifest; Entrance and Exit-> To insert = Manifest Yes.

Re: aolsoftware.exe unable to locate component

capp.exe " anti-virus belongs to Norton, it automatically executes the protection and control of the facilities of electronic mail. That has sense?

Mapi32.dll is part of Windows. Two things to try:
  1. Run the fixmapi.exe as described in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=256946

  2. Run sfc /scannow to search for missing files, as described in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310747 and see what is has to say about mapi32.dll

This must at this moment be solved, since the effects of the operation of its anti-virus.

Re: aolsoftware.exe unable to locate component

If still it sees a problem, we knew to the windows with the same title ". Now, when the type of tree/m can be seen all archives. In addition, if it wishes to change a password without having to write the old password, first type of " net user" You must obtain a list of all the users in the equipment. Next, he selects the user who wishes and writes " net user" He will request himself to him that the new password writes.

Some other commands to try out:
  1. systeminfo (works on some computers)
  2. erase (be careful what you type in here)

If it wishes a list of a pile of commandos, writes "help" Also, if sometimes they want to know more about a commando, it writes in /? after the commando. It gives the details him on the use form that certain commandos.
