Hi there,Nero is kind of good as anything else really. The quality of the burns is not so dependent on the burning software as on the burner & the media used.So select an application that suits your purpose best & burn with it. If you've got Nero use it.
ImgBurn work or ConvertXtoDVD both will do.ConvertXtoDVD can both convert AVI files to DVD format and burn it to your DVDs, so you don't even want ImgBurn anymore. You can play your DVDs like normal. Also QuickTime Pro or MPEG Streamclip can convert them. Some AVIs require that Perian be installed, while others can't be converted in Mac OS X through any means; AVI is a container, not a format.
Hi friend, I've been using VLC and Handbrake together to convert. freaking stuff and they are absolutely free. I use one and then the other and save both to my desktop. After that, I open iMovie (09) and choose to import the final file. It works and it works very well. Let me know if you need directions on what to do next. Best of luck with you
