Hyperlink within a WORD 2007 Doc

I am able to create a bookmark and connect to a hyperlink to that bookmark within my WORD-2007 document. My problem comes when I go to create the second bookmark. I highlight the text, click on "Bookmark," the diolog box opens and it is highlighting the name of the first bookmark, and will not allow me to create a second bookmark. What am I doing wrong?
