Installation issues of DVD Shrink on Windows Vista x64

Hi,
I am using a Windows Vista 64 bit version in my system. Now I want to install DVD Shrink in my computer. When I run the setup it as for a 64 bit version of Windows Vista. I think the application which I have is a 32 bit version. I need to know that is there any tool which can convert the DVD Shrink 32 bit version to 64 bit. Anyhow if I purchase a 64 bit version of DVD Shrink so will it work on a Windows Vista or XP's 32 bit version. And will it give more features as compare to 32bit version. Other thing it can be downgraded or not. The same is also possible with Windows. What are benefit I drive from a 64 bit Windows. Thanks in Advance.

As far as I am concerned I had not able to locate the 64 bit version of DVD Shrink. It is not available right now. And you cannot also convert the Windows to 32 bit because of vast programming. The only way is either to get a 64 bit version of to use the same in a 32 bit Windows. Because DVD Shrink does not support the 64 bit version.

First of all it is not possible to upgrade a 32 bit Windows to 64 bit or downgrade a 64 bit Windows to 32 bit. This because due to different hardware. You can only upgrade to different operating on 32 bit platform only. The same is applicable for the 64 bit version also. The processor of 64bit is different with 32 bit. Although maximum 32 bit programs are designed to work on 64 bit. On the contrary 64 bit programs does not support 32 bit.

The major benefit you can drive from a 64 bit system is you have a large amount on RAM on your system. That means you can put more than 4GB of RAM. The architecture of 64 bit hardware and software is different from 32 bit. The 64 bit version of Windows can handle a large amount of memory and application than 32 bit. There is no way of downgrading the operating system.
