How to stop Outlook making meetings weekly recurrences

I am using Outlook and everything was working fine till yesterday but today when i try to modify a meeting request i got the following message as The Item could not be saved because it has been modified by another user or in another window. according to me there is no one else part from me trying to make modification to this scheduled meeting. Does anyone has idea what would be the matter and why i am getting message ?

I was also facing such kind of issue in Outlook 2003 i try to disable all Add-in and at the same time update Outlook client with all service packs and try to restart my Outlook was then had a checked of it after that Outlook stop making meetings weekly recurrences.Hope this should work for you too.

I have try to disable all Add-in and updated all Outlook packs too but was still facing same issue and at the same time i have also try to use uninstall Office and reinstall it again but no result. Can anyone tell me what would be the issue and i don't think so it would be a virus issue because had a check for the same my computer is virus free.
