7-Zip is open source software. Most of the source code is under the GNU LGPL license. The unRAR code is under a mixed license: GNU LGPL + unRAR restrictions. With this you can extract .iso but cant create .iso

ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver is a disk image emulator created by Olof Lagerkvist. It is Open Source, containing some code licensed under GPL, and some under BSD. It can emulate devices as hard drives, floppy drives, or CD/DVD drives.i think its better to use nero rather than such application ..

DoISO is a simple GPL'd, free ISO creation frontend for mkisofs, the ultimate ISO creating utility. One day I wanted to make a DVD-sized ISO but found that my previously trusty ISO utilities would only go to CD size.
