How can i restore a deleted public contact list in exchange

I am using Windows 2003 server which is already having exchange server setup on it. One of the users accidentally pressed Shift + Delete and some of the important emails from Outlook 2007 where deleted. Can anyone tell me how to restore deleted public contact list in exchange because i have tried a lot to find the solution but was not able to get it.

If you want to restore a deleted public contact list in exchange then you need to goto public folder then click on Tools and then click on Recover deleted items. If you've deleted an entire public folder, in that case you can select the parent folder and use Recover Deleted Items. I am sure you would be able to recover your contact.

If you have already deleted exchange public folder and due to some reason it's fails because of some permissions issue, then in that case you need to use Microsoft's PFDAVAdmin utility which will help you to recover your deleted public contact list. If Deleted Items Retention has been configured on the public store, you will see the deleted folders appear in red. Right click on the one you want to recover and choose the option to recover it.
