Burn audio in Mini CD to play in CD player

Hi,
I have some mini cd's. I want to create a small audio and video file which will be distributed among a school. This mini cd's will have poetry's and nursery rhymes. I want to know weather this mini cd's will work in all traditional CD and DVD player. The size here is limited so what the way to add up more audio in it. Does this disc comes in other than round shape. Thanks anyway.

The Mini CD's can hold up to 25-180 Megabyte of data and the Mini DVD's hold 150-1.1 GB of Data. So the DVD's will be better. You can add up to 1GB of data is in it. The Mini CD's are same like the regular one. They does not have any different interface. Just burn them in Nero. Either create a MP3 disc for more files to be added or use Create Audio disc to generate quality disc. There is only size that matters here other than everything is same.

There are ways by which you can compress a audio file. Like take a example that and full audio song is around 4 Megabyte. And you have a Mini Disc of 180 Megabyte. Then you can add around 40 songs here. But by compressing the size will be reduced between 1-3 megabyte which can add more songs. You will need Music Jukebox for that. Here is instruction about compressing file. Launch Music Match Jukebox and click on Convert. You will see two box here. In the first one browse the folder of audio and then in the second box give the destination folder. Reduce the bitrate slider below. The traditional will show a 128Kbps, reduce them to less than 100 or more as you need. Click on convert.

Mini CD's comes in many shapes and size. Some of examples are square, oval, rounded rectangle, Triangle, house, heart, flower and much more. The size ranges from 25 Mb to 750 Mb and more. Some site offers you a customize shape option also. The mp3 disc is burned as all other way and it is readable by all players. Just create a audio format like mp3 the most common one.
