Cannot find macro working in excel 2007

I am facing some issue in Excel 2007, when i am trying to Run a macro i am getting following error message as Cannot find any open spreadsheet command using session name "default" and at the same time i have already created one macro too which is also not working in excel 2007. Can anyone tell me what would be the issue ?

There are many reasons because of which your macro is not working like file was not an XLSM file when it was saved and the macro was automatically removed. or ti might happen that the macro is Private and this would true be that most code in userforms, or they can be declared Private in any standard module. The macros are in another file which is not open

It might also happen that the macro which you have created in which the session name is case sensitive and it might be you have open the excel file with Default session and you have to provide default as the session name. If you are specifying it as default then according to your macro should work now.

It might happen that you haven't save the macros in the Personal Macro Workbook before saving and moving or you haven't attach the toolbar to the file before saving and moving because this are some common mistake which people do and then they are not able to run macro.
