thousands of emails a day

hello,Ive never done anything like this before. My windows mail has started sending thousands of the same mail to my inbox and junk mail over and over, no matter how many times i delete it all. Does anyone know how to make it stop. It is on a dell laptop. thank you

You are getting the same mails in the inbox because the mail when downloaded on your Windows Mail does not get deleted on the server. Because of that everyday Windows Mail download the same mails again. To avoid this Go to Tools > Accounts. Click on your Email account and select Properties. Then go to the Advance tab and untick the option of leave a copy of message. Click OK and close. Now whenever you will check your mail the download mails will be deleted from your email server. And for the junk mail problem use the Windows mails junck mail filter. Enable them.
