Outlook read receipts are not supported in a Hotmail account

I am not getting read receipt for Hotmail messages that i sended to address in my contact list in Hotmail account. Sometime i receive a delivery receipt, but do not receiving read receipt.

To work around this behavior, select read receipts to confirm that the recipient has opened the message. To do this:

• On the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click E-mail Options.
• Click Tracking Options.
• Click to select the Request a read receipt for all messages I send check box, and then click OK.

If you are using Microsoft Outlook with Exchange Server, you can easily request read receipts and get notified when your email is opened by the recipient(s).To request a read receipt for an individual message in Windows Mail or Outlook Express: Select Tools from the message's menu. Make sure Request Read Receipt is checked. When the recipient of the message opens, it will inform you that mail has been open and read by receiver.

Receiving read receipts to determine the status of your sent message is a feature that is not currently available with Windows Live Hotmail. SpyPig service allow you to track email system, it sends notification email when recipient opens email and read the mail.
