If you are Only interested in the text and layout of a Web page and not in the image then you can Save ink and print faster by removing images before printing. for this I think you need to disable the images in the browsers,

To Disable images in internet explorer 8 ,

    1. Go to the page to be printed.
    2. First open the page to be printed
    3. Press the F12 key.
    4. The Developer tools opens. Click the Images menu and then click Disable images.
    5. The images are no longer displayed in the Web page. You can print it!
    6. Once printing is complete, return to the window of Developer tools.
    7. Click the Images menu and then click Disable images. The option is then disabled and the images displayed again.
    8. Finally close the window of Developer tools

To print a portion of text, you must first highlight the lines for printing. Place the cursor before making a left click at the beginning of the paragraph, keep the button down and drag to the last word you want. The result should be selected , To start printing, open the File menu and click Print (regardless of the open applications: text editor, browser). The dialog box offers several types of printing: everything, the current page some pages numbered or even a selection. Obviously this last option that is preferred here. Press OK
