How to make Xray effect in Photoshop?

Hi,

I am playing with Photoshop for 2 days & now I want to know How to give X-ray effect to an image.
Anyone of you ever attempted to do such X ray effect to an image?

Hey I don't think such thing is possible in Photoshop.

Its not possible with photoshop or any other tool.

But I have found quite an interesting tutorial on creating Xray style effect for mechanical objects.

Photo Effects X-Ray

1. Open the image for editing.

2. Dupliate the current layer (Ctrl+J).

3. Invert the current layer (Ctrl+I).

4. Add a layer mask to the current layer (Layer> Add Layer Mask> Reveal All).

5. With the layer mask selected, use the "Apply Image" tool to apply the following properties:

Source: filename
Layer: Background
Channel: RGB
Invert: Checkmarked
Blending: Normal
Opacity: 100%
