Sonic activation module

Hi guys, i really need help, i'm really mad with it, I have a dell notebook, its quite few months old now. The issue is every time i boot I Windows installer tries to activate the Sonic Activation Module. But what the hell this is ? I don't have any idea about this application. Please HELP

If its happening on every startup and you don't want to come it again then go to startup and remove it. You'll have to restart your computer for changes to take affect.

start => Run... -> " msconfig " -> go to "startup " -> uncheck the the "isupm " and the "issch" box .

You can uninstall all programs by sonic, but as read the similar issue on dell website , there is nothing wrong with sonic programs, actually your windows update manager is missing , If you go to Microsoft's download page, you will find download manager.

Uninstall all of the following programs:

• Sonic Update Manager
• Sonic DLA
• Storage Guard
• Sonic RecordNow

and you can also install Windows Clean Up Utility, and remove the Sonic items.
