    Photoshop making a certain color / image transparent

    how can I do to create a png or gif image (for the bottom of a page ) with a degree of transparency, the image is not too dark indeed, and my writings emerge ...How to replace an image in PNG or a format that supports transparent, color by color transparent also how to make transparent background.please help

    at the top of the range you have a layer Opacity slider it will just move the cursor to the left to provide transparency to make a color transparent simply select and then delete it (extra button on the keyboard)

    you want to replace a color with a transparent box so it must selecton color and remove it (so there is more color to its location)

    or you want to replace one color with another and there are several solutions
    - Selection \ color range and then you click on the image with the eyedropper, then you rule tolerance
    - Image \ Adjust \ color replacement
    - Image \ Adjust \ selective correction and you choose a color from the Colors menu
    - Image \ setup \ hue saturation
