How to Save an AIM Conversation

I want to know the setting in AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) to save AIM conversation and location of that file where conversations is saved?

You have to be sure that you have signed at Aim if you want to save aim conversations, Click on the "File" menu of the AOL Instant Messenger application > Choose and type in a name for the saved AIM chat in the "File Name" box > Pull down the "Save as type" menu > Choose "Text Only" > After that you need to choose the location in your computer so it will give you the path of that file.

Old AIM conversion are only saved if that preference is selectedfrom aim account. The actual AIM itself, no, it does not log your conversations. The only way for AIM to log your conversations is to download an add-on such as AIM+ or Dead AIM.
