Create desktop icon for outlook express

I am using outlook 2003 on my windows xp computer. How do I create an Outlook Express shortcut icon on my desktop, i have tried to start Outlook Express from desktop icon but it gives an error message " Outlook Express could not be started because Msoe.dll could not be initialized". So i want the procedure to create Outlook Express shortcut icon on desktop.

To create desktop icon for Outlook Express e-mail message, use the following steps:

• Right-click the desktop, click New, and then click Shortcut.
• In the Command Line box, type mailto:, and then click Next.
• In the "Select a name for the shortcut" box, type a descriptive name for the shortcut, and then click Finish.

To create a shortcut on your desktop for a new Outlook Express e-mail messenger, Just click My Computer/"C"/Program files/Outlook Express and then open Outlook Express folder to create the short cut. Scroll down to the Outlook Express .exe file, right click on it and the slide your courser down to "Send to" and then over to "Desk top, create a short cut".
