Header footer start on page 2

Hello friends,

I am making a project in Word 2007 where my first page will be the cover page and rest will contain information about my whole project , over here i need to make a method statement, so the first page should be cover page and no header or footer is required, but when i apply header & footer it's apply to all pages, is it possible to start Header and Footer from 2 or 3 page?

If you want to start your header and footer to start from page 2 then you need to start enabling from first page which will give you a another Page Header , since you don't need keep it as blank. Same way if you don't want a header or footer on page 2, either, insert a section break between pages 1 and 2. Do the same thing for rest of the pages.

If you are planning not to have header or footer on the first page then in the page setup goto layout. Over here you can setup a new sequence of header or footer by inserting a section break and at the same time you can use just the one header/footer and conditionally insert information into it example {IF {Page} <> 1 "This is the header or footer page from 2 onwards"}
