Required to know about stitched effect type in photoshop

Hello everyone,

Here I am a little bit confused with Photoshop stitched effect.

Actually I need to apply a Stitched effect to one of my Image for a project. But the problem is that I don't understand what is the best way to do so?

If anyone of you guys can help me out it will be very helpful for me.

Creating a Stitching Effect in Photoshop

1. Just draw a thick line (straight or zig zag) with the paintbrush or line tool.
2. Erase every so often to look like stitches.
3. Then use the fur filter in eye candy Choose Filter> Eye Candy> Fur then adjust the levels as desired and click the checkmark.
4. If you don't have eye candy, then use a wrinkle pattern overlay. Add effects Layer > Layer Style > Pattern Overlay. Choose the wrinkles pattern and the result will be a fluffy black and white string
5. Add a drop shadow Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow.

You can also create realistic stitching with just beveling and shadowing.
