Hotmail Account showing incorrect time

How do I fix the wrong time problem on my email? The time setting on my Dell laptop is correct, but when i send or receive hotmail messages the time's an hour ahead. I am running windows xp on my laptop, time is adjusted as per GMT UK. Can anyone tell me why hotmail messages showing wrong time?

First check your computers time and date must be correct. Right-click on the time in your Systray. This is commonly in the bottom right hand of your screen.Select Date and Time Properties > Time Zone tab > Internet Time > Most of the time the default settings are correct, but make sure that Automatically synchronize... is checked to allow Windows to synchronize your clock with an appropriate time server. If your clock "drifts", as some do, this will help keep it accurate.

If hotmail messages showing wrong time then follow the step to correct it :

• In the upper-right corner of the page, click "Options" then choose "More options."
• Click on Personal on the left, for Personal Options
• Click on My Profile, which is described: "Change your name, location, and other personal information."
• On the "Account summary" page, click the "Registered information” link
• Under “Home Location,” choose your correct country.
• Under “Time Zone,” choose your correct timezone.
• Click the “Save” tab.

Go to options > more options > manage your account > view and edit your personal information and make sure your time zone settings are correct.
