I keep getting error message when i am trying to upgraded Outlook 2003. When I upgraded to Outlook it is not updating file format, now i want software or any tool to upgrade pst file.

When you upgrade Outlook 2003 it does not upgrade the format of your PST file, to increase pst file size you need registry change. The default file size of pst is 20 gb By modifying the registry, you can set the size to ~33 TB.

There are 2 types of PST files. Outlook 2003 (and previous versions) created PST files in the ANSI format which had a 2 GB limit in file size. Outlook 2007 allows you to create a PST file in UNICODE format which has a 20 GB Limit by default.
When these file size got exceeded we get “.pst has reached maximum size limit” error message and it become corrupted. To avoid and overcome this type of situation PST Upgrade and Downgrade tool can be very helpful, to convert ANSI PST files to Unicode PST files or Unicode PST file to ANSI PST files.
