Download Free Software to Convert from MP4 to WMV

Hi,

I am Having a hard time finding a good working free software that can convert mp4 to wmv. Everything I have download either dosent work or I have to delete it or it downloads an then doesn't work. have a few questions on how to convert mp4 files to wmv for my portable mp3-video player, any suggestions on software to do the conversion? Any help is really appreciated.
