Not able to create items in Outlook 2003 Calendar

Hello good morning,

The system is running on Windows XP which is fully patched up and using an Exchange 2003 server.I am a desperate user because am not able to create new ones in calendar items also cannot edit any of the existing.when ever attempted to do so it has no response.I don't have any PDA's attached to this machine, and ActiveSync isn't installed. Am the only user in the entire company facing this problem, and other users can access calendar and add things in.It's proving to be very difficult to fix as far as am concerned.

Did you try to clear your Outlook Forms cache?if not make an attempt to do so for this get the tools form the menu then go to options
Other > Advanced Options > Custom Forms > Manage Forms > Clear Cache.
you done it.At the same time make sure that there are not disabled items.To confirm this Click Help > About Microsoft Office Outlook > Disabled Items > click on the disabled item, then click Enable.I was able to rectify my problems with this hope it will also do the same fo rou

Dude did you try detect and repair? i know a critical security update is available for Exchange 2003 and emphasizes two vulnerabilities in Exchange Server. The first vulnerability is remote code execution if a specially crafted TNEF message is forwarded to an Exchange Server. The second vulnerability could allow denial of service if a specially crafted MAPI command is sent to Exchange Server. A successful attacker could cause the Exchange System Attendant service and other services that use the EMSMDB32 provider to stop responding.
