Hp Scanjet 5200c driver for Windows Vista

I'm running Windows Vista as my operating system. Recently i had bought a new HP Scanjet 5200C Scanner for my pc. The problem is that whenever i try to use HP Scanjet 5200C Scanner on my pc, it doesn't work on my pc. It gives out an error message stating that drivers doesn't support your system. Can anyone tell me that which Hp Scanjet 5200c driver works on Windows Vista? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct solution to get rid of the above issue.

HP and Microsoft both state that the scanner is not supported, but I absolutely have to use this piece of hardware for necessary scans which are not very complex. If it's USB you must disconnect the USB cable from the PC and install the software first, then connect the USB cable when told or after Finish.

If you want to try this again make sure that you disconnect the scanner,
delete any icons there may be for it in a Control Panel folder, uninstall the
HP software and then reboot the PC. Then follow the below steps to install HP ScanJet 5200C drivers for Windows.

1. Define your HP Image device model.

2. Define your operating system to install your HP Image device. Note: Update Drivers in Win Vista

3. Browse Image Drivers.

4. Find HP Image Drivers.

5. Select HP ScanJet 5200C.

6. Download HP ScanJet 5200C. Note: you can update all Drivers automatically with RadarSync (Freeware) or Driver Detective (Shareware).

7. Install HP ScanJet 5200C.

8. Restart or reboot your computer to finish your driver installation. Note: you can backup your computer drivers before updating.
