How to slipstream SP3 into Office 2003
Before you begin anything, you'll need the following:
1. Microsoft Office 2003 CD or setup file.
2. Office 2003 Service Pack 3.
3. About 700 MB of free space on your hard disk.
4. A CD drive.
Slipstreaming SP3 into Office 2003
Installing Office 2003:
Extract Office 2003 Service Pack 3 files:
Apply Service Pack 3 to Office 2003 installation files
Go to "Start", "Run" and enter the below command:
msiexec /p D:\tempSP3\MAINSP3.msp /a C:\Office2003\PRO11.MSI shortfilenames=true /qb
D:\tempSP3 is the place where Service Pack 3 files where extracted and C:\Office2003 is the place where Office 2003 was installed.
Re: How to slipstream SP3 into Office 2003
Thanks for that information void. Well I am already using Office 2003 since 2 years but with SP2. I think I can still use your method to install the SP3 without reinstalling the Office 2003. I will give it a try and will update you if found any problem.
