Re: Troubleshoot ntdll.dll;ntopenprocesstoken error

Try this out. Run Microsoft System File checker and let windows find and replace the missing file. The error usually means a corrupted windows file. To run the utility go to Start Menu and click on Run. then type cmd and hit enter. Make sure that you are logged in as administrator. Then in command window type sfc /scannow and hit enter. The sfc will scan windows and fix up the errors. If it ask for a windows cd then insert the disc.

Re: Troubleshoot ntdll.dll;ntopenprocesstoken error

Ntdll.dll is windows operating file. The error is not related to any virus attack. This file contains windows nt kernel functions. The location of file is c\windows\system32. When the error occurs the windows crash and reboots. There are many causes of this error. The first one is corrupt windows installation. It is possible that at the time of installation the file is damaged or corrupted. Which generate a error after some time. Or any hardware in your computer is not working properly. The solution for this is to change the cables of your hard drives, cd drives and other hardware's just ensure that the hardware is properly detected by the system. Check your hard disk first.

Re: Troubleshoot ntdll.dll;ntopenprocesstoken error

The error is related to ntdll.dll file of windows. It is a critical system component. The main cause of error is that when the ntdll.dll file in windows system folder is corrupted. This is normally related to an application. Try to upgrade your chipset drivers. Reinstall all the drivers back again. Basically on a simple restart the errors goes. But if not then you will need to remove the third party software which is creating conflict. Update your windows. Disable all Internet Explorer add ons. Update the drivers of any recently installed hardware. Check that your RAM is working properly. Change the hard disk IDE cables. If possible run the repair utility from windows bootable disk. Other wise re-install windows.
