HP Printer 1010 Vista 64 bit Driver help

I am in need of driver for hp printer 1010 for vista 64bit os. I have been searching it for a while and cant found it, therefore need your help. Thank you

You can successfully use LaserJet 2100PL5 driver over network, no printing issues what so ever.

Download HP direct 2K 64bit driver download here.

Vista also has pre installed drivers, when choosing printer drivers, select HP>LaserJet 2100PL5

I've got the same problem on my Win2k3 64bit system with this printer because it is not yet supported by HP R&D, so I decided to change driver to another...
So, I've started to play with native drivers offered by Win2k3 64bit (the same list should be on WinXP 64bit too):
- HP LaserJet - very poor quality, because it is a 300x300 dot printer driver,
- HP LasetJet Series II - the same problem,
- HP LaserJet 2100 - bingo!, because this driver is for 600x600 dots per inch printers, has no problem with TTF fonts, printing optimizations, EconoMode, REt drivers.

So, forget 'bout PCL/PostScript printer drivers and check this out, LaserJet 2100 will be good solution.

The xp driver on the cd that came with the printer works perfectly fine. I installed it on my vista laptop using the EZinstall http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...lang=en&cc=us&

I tested the printer and it worked great!

try this
1. Get HP PCL 5 Universal Driver at http://bit.ly/eNaqp (if you get cant find the file just refresh)
2. In printer properties, select port: DOT4_001
3. Printing should work now

Note: Vista drivers works with Windows 7! both 32-bit and 64-bit drivers work, even network printing works!

am running windows 7 64-bit on one system and am using vista 32-bit on other that has the printer connected
