Thumb Drive gives File permission error

I am using MS Word 2007 on my computer using Windows XP installed in it. It recently gave me a strange error when i was trying to save a document in a flash drive... The error says "File Permission Error" Does anyone facing the same problem Please Help...!

One of my friend was facing the same problem & after doing lot of research on it. We found that the the partition of the thumb drive was not supportive. Are you using the thumb drive having the Fat or Fat 32 partition. Change the partition to NTFS & then try it will definitely work...!

It might be your Thumb drive might have not installed properly. Firstly try installing the Flash Drive properly Then try to perform that action & If still doesn't work do one thing save the file on your computer Desktop & then copy it to your Drive. Hope this works...!

I think the file you were using was not having the the permission to edit or write in that document so firstly acquire the permission from it or if you have edited it & want to save it just do Save As procedure to so it save it with the permission issue solved...
