    Appcrash wmenc.exe application

I'm having a Acer laptop on which i had installed Windows Vista as my operating system. The problem is that whenever i try to play any songs or movies on my Windows Media Player, it gives out an error message stating that "appcrash wmenc.exe" application had crashed on your system. Can any body tell me that how do i get rid of this issue? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct solution on the above issue.

I think your Windows Media Encoder might been have corrupted on your system. For that you need to go to control panel, then select administrative tools, then under event viewer check out whether you can see any error details.

In order to get rid of the above issue, try to download Windows Media Encoder from the official Microsoft Website. It's a package of utilities, but we'll focus on the encoder itself, a video processing studio with all kinds of neat features. With a default installation, the path to the encoder is C:\Program Files\Windows Media Components\Encoder\wmenc.exe. You'll have it in your startup menu.
