The Norton Ghost 2003 file you are attempting to execute must be run in DOS. To execute the Ghost 2003 command, reboot your computer using a bootable floppy disk and then execute the Norton Ghost 2003 command.

And also see this Norton Ghost guides: Norton Ghost

    Norton Ghost User's Guide

    Hope this helps. Good luck

Instead of trying the DOS mode I will recommend you to re-install your software first and then clone the DVD in GUI mode. When you run the Ghost 2003 tools go to Ghost Advanced option and then select Clone. A Cline Wizard will appear. Then select the source and destination and run the wizard. This will be very easy for you.

Get a DOS bootable disc or floppy, boot from the same. Booting from dos then run ghost. If your hard disk is NTFS file system, make sure the dos disk should support reading and writing ntfs partitions.
