Window XP Adobe Reader issue

Hello everyone
Hopes everyone doing great.here i have a problem with my adobe reader on my windows xp enabled computer Whenever I use Adobe Reader, I get a pop up window showing that Adobe Reader encountered a problem and need to close. I have no idea what to do? My Adobe Reader is version 6.0. can somebody help me to get rid of this issue..

Dude,have you tried to uninstall the software..if not why can't give a trial..un install the software completely from your pc.also delete all adobe files from the program files.ok now if possible get the latest version of the adobe reader and install the setup files and see you have problems still stick around

While uninstalling Acrobat Reader Go to add/remove programs in Control Panel and remove all versions of Acrobat Reader that you see there.Restart your computer and go to the Adobe web site and download a fresh copy of the appropriate version of Acrobat Reader for your desktop.Disable your anti-virus application and try installing Acrobat Reader again.

When i had the problem with my adobe reader the trouble maker was the motive smartbride. I was aware that it was something in start-up that was causing the issues. however I did some research and turned things off and that was the application responsible for this. me also download the start-up program
