How to uninstall Tablet PC Input Panel?

Tablet PC Input Panel got automatically installed with the recent updates and now i can't use the mouse pad on my tablet pc (Its my sister laptop), and I can't take screenshots anymore without seeing this "Alt" tool-tip in them. Please tell me the way to Uninstall Tablet PC Input Panel . Please !

Setting the DisableInPlace registry key to zero prevents the Input Panel user interface (UI) from appearing in an application. You must place the DisableInPlace registry key at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\. Then, add a new registry value by using the full path of the application in which you want to disable Input Panel. The following example registry entry disables Input Panel in an application called MyApp:

To turn off you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off, then uncheck Tablet PC Optional Components. See this thread also Turn off Tablet PC Input Panel

Start -> Run" and enter in "services.msc" and locate Table PC Input Panel and right-click on it and select "Stop".

Note: You can't uninstall Table PC Input Panel, but if you follow the above directions it should work, you may have to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. If you don't have Run on your start menu, you can also press Windows Key + R to load up the Run command.

To remove the Tablet Input Panel from the taskbar :

Run

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\tipband.dll"

and to restore again Run:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\tipband.dll"

and then reboot.
