Can't create file in outlook 2003

I have installed outlook 2003 on my computer. The problem is when i open attachment it shows me an error message "Can't create file Right-Click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder". Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you Can't create file in outlook 2003 then follow this step :
  • Click My Computer, and then double-click drive C.
  • On the File menu, click New, and then click Folder.
  • Name the folder temp0.
  • Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  • Locate and then click the following registry key:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\
  • In the right pane, double-click OutlookSecureTempFolder.
  • In Value Data field, type C:\temp0\ and then click OK.
  • Exit Registry Editor.
  • Restart the computer.

This issue may occur when the Temporary Internet Files folder is stored on a server on which you do not have sufficient permissions. When opening an attachment the first thing Outlook does is save the file to a specific folder on the hard drive.

Are you opening the Word attachment directly from the email? Go to start > run > type regedit : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\and make sure that path exists. Set the key to read-only for the user.
