    Windows 7 Realtek HD audio Drivers needed

    Hello, I recently downloaded Windows 7 RC and installed it. All is well, but my sound is not working. So therefore, can anyone give me a link or so for the realktek audio drivers for Windows 7 for download. Thank you

    i used drivers that i get when the computer was bought, this was 4 year ago and drivers work perfect, if you have original cd with drivers use device manager to install it i have normal ac97

    Try installing the latest Realtek HD Audio drivers for Vista 64bit from here and see if they work:

    Did you try to go to the Control Panel, Hardware and Sound and click on the title "Sound"

    You'll get another pop-up window - on the playback tab highlight Realtek Digital Output - click on the button Property -

    From there here is the control panel of Realtek, choose the Supported Formats tab and stick Dolby Digital.
