Rotate digital video 90 degrees

Yesterday i recorded a video from my digital camera and converted it to mp4 format to play it with Itunes, now i have need to rotate this video by 90 degree, how can i do this? there is no option to rotate video in itunes or windows media player. Any other application? Thanks in advance.

I use QuickTime Pro, you can do this with QuickTime Pro. Follow the following steps:

1. Open video with QuickTime, go to :Window" option and select "Show Movie Properties"
   
   
2. Now in properties select the "Visual Settings" , and in Visual Setting click on the Rotate Icon, and keep rotating it till it gives you 90 degree.

There many softwares available for this task, like Avid Xpress DV and Video Vegas. And both of this softwares are not available for free, however you can try a trial version of them . You can also use the Adobe Premiere's effects.The Transform filter has a rotation setting that does just what you wants.
