trying to restore to factory configuration - Vaio/Vista

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll give it a shot...I have a Vaio with Vista on it. It has countless issues, so I decided to just take it back to factory configuration...If I press F8 I get a menu, bot there's no option of Repair....if I press F10 I get different screens everytime, but none of them give me any options...I can only press ENTER...

If I try to go to Help and Support and click Restore C: Drive, I get Error: 300...when I start my computer I get error 0x800106ba...so no matter what I do it doesn't let me format, reinstall, anything, I just get different errors...moreover, I lost my sound and I can't connect to the internet...it can still read DVD and the desktop looks normal...

I already tried RegCure and Registry Easy, but they didn't really help...nor did the VAIO tech support...any other suggestions?!
