Outlook general Increase the size of pst file

I have installed outlook 2007 on my computer. I have created outlook.pst file, now i want to increase size of that file. How do I increase pst file size of in outlook 2007. I know that default file size is less than 20gb. Any Clues?

The PST file can become huge in Outlook 2007. You need to go to the following location in the registry : Outlook 2007: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\PST and set the value to WarnLargeFileSize.

The MaxFileSize registry entry determines the absolute maximum size that both the .pst and the .ost files can grow to. To increase pst file size in outlook 2007, you need to change value in this registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\PST.After this maximum size is reached, Outlook does not permit the size of the file to grow beyond this size. If .ost files or .pst files reach the limit that is specified in the WarnFileSize or the WarnLargeFileSize registries.

The default size is 20 GB but as far as I know there must be a registry value that allows to increase the maximum up to approximately 4TB. For performance and stability reasons, it is not recommended to increase the limit beyond 20 GB. The solution is create a new pst file but in unicode format and then move some of the contents from the old pst file to the new pst file.
