    Rhapsody Updates Error

    Hi,

I connected it to the computer with Rhapsody running. No tracks came up. Error persisted and when I try to update Rhapsody, I get "Internal Stream Error". I have setup my account using the desktop controller. Rhapsody boots fine and loads my library (and shows my account). I just can't update the DRM so I can authorize my system.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me

    Re: Rhapsody Updates Error

Windows Media Player installs specific DRM components that Rhapsody uses. Occasionally there will be updates to the DRM available through Windows Media Player. To check for updates:

    1. Open Windows Media Player.
    2. Click Help -> Check for Updates (If the Help button is not showing, press ALT on your keyboard).
    3. Follow the on-screen prompts.
    4. Repeat the above steps until Windows Media Player tells you there are no new updates available.
    5. Now try Rhapsody.

    Re: Rhapsody Updates Error

On Windows XP, with the exception of certain older RealArcade games, these programs should be used without any Compatibility Mode settings enabled. On Windows Vista, it is strongly recommended that these applications use the Run As Administrator tool. No other Compatibility Mode options should be enabled.

To check these applications for Compatibility Mode settings:

    1. Right-click on the desktop icon for the application.
    2. Select Properties.
    3. Go to the Compatibility tab.
    4. Uncheck any boxes that are checked (VISTA USERS: leaving Run As Administratorchecked is fine).
    5. Click Apply.
    6. Click OK.

    Re: Rhapsody Updates Error

Follow the steps below to fix the problem. You don't need to perform all of these steps! Try performing the steps in the linked article above after each solution is attempted.

Solution 1: Allow ActiveX control to install and run.
Solution 2: Verify Internet Explorer settings are set properly to allow the upgrade.
Solution 3: Fix the date and time setting on your device or computer.
Solution 4: Rename the Windows DRM folder.
Solution 5: Install all critical updates for Windows.
