Entourage corrupt database

I have entourage in my machine and i suspect the database is corrupt... How do i recover the database? I had taken a backup of the database but that was 2 weeks ago. I will loose a lot of data if i use that database... Please help me recover the database... Can anyone tell me what causes Entourage corrupt database?

Did you have a power failure? that may have caused the computer to suddenly turn off when the database was working on some data and the database got itself corrupt. This may be a valid reason for database corruption...

Thanks for the quick reply mate, But now is there a way to repair or recover the orignal database from the corrupt one? Or i need to use the database copy that i backed-up two weeks ago? Please help!

I would suggest you to restore the copy that had backed-up two weeks ago. It is better to loose some data rather then loosing all of them... All the best..
