entourage error -3259

One of my best friend was not able sent emails through entourage. he was getting an error message on it with the error code 3259 saying "An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic." Does anyone know what the problem might be???? Please Help...!

I think firstly you need to check the account setting to ISP/Server. If in case using SMTP port 25 for your ISP then they sometime block it beyond their server to slow down/stop spammers. So just make your SMTP port to 587 for your ISP email.

Go to Tools in Entourage, in that go to accounts, In that go to Edit. In Account see the Sending Mail & open Advanced sending option. Now just erase the Default SMTP port (25) and change the port to 587.
