Hello I have ACER desktop Computer , I Get this Error Message when trying to install Microsoft Money on a Windows XP machine

This is the Error message

Setup was unable to install some of the components needed to run Money, try installing Money again

So , i cannot Uninstall the microsoft Money on windows Xp , please Help me Thanks in advance

You might have to reset the registry install it properly:for this

1. first Click "Start," then selct "Run" and type "cmd" in the run dialog box after that
2. Press' Enter '- this will open a box for command prompt
3. Type secedit / configure / cfg% windir% \ repair \ secsetup.inf / db secsetup.sdb / verbose
4. Press' Enter '
5. You should see a message task is complete "when this is done, and a warning about what could not be done (ignore this message).

Repair the Money installation

• Find the MNYIDCRL.MSI file in the installation media for Money. For example, on your CD or in the online download file.
• Right-click the MNYIDCRL.MSI file, and then click Repair.
• Verify that these steps resolve Money's installation problem.

Restart the computer as you typically do, and then repair Windows Installer
First, restart the computer in regular startup mode, and then try again if you were running in safe mode. ,and you might have to Reset the registry settings to the default values in Windows XP Professional. after that Restart the computer. and Install Money.
