Fraction character in Microsoft Word

I want to insert Fraction Character in Microsoft Word as i have to make a daily analysis based reports at office. Is it possible to insert fractions in MS word? Fractions like 1/2 but not using "/" but i should look as we do it in our math notebook. It should be just a single character and not three characters. Help guys...

It is possible to insert the fractions. I used it when i was doing a school project report, i don't remember where it exactly is, but you will find it from insert menu... All the best!

I have Microsoft Office 2007, so it will be different from the previous versions. I tried in the Insert Menu but couldn't find it anywhere. Can you please be precise, where excatly will i find the fraction character? Please help!! Thanks!

Go to insert menu then click on Symbols and then click on more symbols, there you will find teh fraction, select from any predefined fractions. See this picture :
